Ski season starts in Bulgaria’s Pamporovo winter resort

The ski season in Bulgaria’s Pamporovo ski resort starts on December 13. All guests of the resort were offered the opportunity to use the ski lifts for free today. From December 14 to December 20 inclusive, the ski zone will offer promotional prices for the lift cards. Runways № 6, №10 and №11 are open, and ski lifts № 1, № 2, №and № 5 are working.

The ski zone in Bansko resort is partially opened. The official opening will take place tomorrow, December 14, and as part of the tradition will be accompanied by various events.

In Borovets, the date for the opening of the ski zone has not yet been determined.

Snow cannons for artificial snow are operational and suitable weather conditions will allow the opening of Yastrebets and Sitnyakovo ski centres.

Pamporovo ski resort is located in the heart of the Rhodopi mountain, Southern Bulgaria. It is the sunniest Bulgarian mountain resort. The ski slopes of Pamporovo are maintained in a very good condition. The gentle profile of the mountain with its rounded slopes and summits makes Pamporovo suitable for beginners, but there are difficult ski runs like "The Wall" for the advanced skiers.
