Slight decrease in new coronavirus cases reported in Bulgaria

Eighty one new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, the national information system update shows on June 20. The results come from 2300 PCR tests.The largest number of latest cases is in Sofia – 28 people.

The total number of cases in the country to date in 3755.

The total recoveries are 2008, including 67 over the past 24 hours.

The fatalities are 193, including 3 from the past 24 hours.

As of today, Bulgaria lifts the obligatory 14 day quarantine for arrivals from Belgium’

The municipality in Blagoevgrad is closed until 24 of June because two employees tested positive for the virus.

A kindergarten in Razlog has been temporarily closed because a teacher was infected with coronavirus. All staff and the children from the group will be tested.

Iztok neighbourhood in Kyustendil was placed under strict quarantine as of today because of the increased number of cases. Leaving the area will be allowed only for people who go to work and if their employer provides transport for them. Only special vehicles and deliveries of goods will be allowed in the neighbourhood.
