Stage for New Year Concert is Getting Ready

The Bulgarian National Television and Sofia Municipality will again present viewers with an unforgettable concert for the New Year. The concert “Stage under the Stars” will start at 22:00 on 31st of December at Aleksander Batenberg square in Sofia and will run until 01:00 on 1^st of January.

This year’s hosts will be Anna Angelova, presenter of BNT’s show “The Day Begins with culture, and the actor Vladimir Penev.

The festive programme will feature famous Bulgarian musicians and groups, including Hilda Kazasian, Vassil Petrov, Angel Zaberski with the Big Band, Akaga group, Mihaela Marinova, Dara, Hristiana Louizu, singnal group.

The show will also feature the biggest firework display for the recent 19 years, which will last for 7 minutes.

As part of the tradition, the popular Bulgarian folk singer Nikolina Chakardakova will lead the traditional Bulgarian horo dance.
