Teachers’ salaries will rise by 17% and 18% from 1 January 2020, according to the annex to the collective bargaining agreement, which was signed by trade unions and employers organizations on November 12 in the Ministry of Education.
The lowest teachers’ salary will be 1,085 BGN. The minimum remuneration of senior teachers will start from 1,120 BGN and for higher grades the pay will be 1,176 BGN. The minimum pay for heads of schools will be 1.334 BGN.
