The two juvenile Afghani nationals accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in Sofia were moved to detention facility. Before that they were in a correctional facility for juveniles.
On October 24, the measure was replaced with detention in custody. The court's decision is final. The court sat with closed doors so that no personal information about the two young people was disclosed.
The court described their behaviour as risky and dangerous because they threatened the girl with a knife before raping her.
It ruled that the two were likely to abscond.
