Workers from the cigarette factory “Bulgartabak – Sofia” staged another protest. On 27th of April, they gathered outside the building of the Ministry of the Economy demanding to keep their jobs in the factory.
This is the forth consecutive protest against the closure of “Sofia – BT” and more than 400 job cuts as of 10th of May. All laid off workers will receive indemnities, but they do not want to lose their jobs.
The protesters also demanded the resignation of the minister of the economy Bozhidar Lukarski.
