Total Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria reaches 276, youngest is 3 year old

Thirty three cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours. The total number for the country reaches 276, said the head of the National Task force, Major-General, Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski on March 27 at the morning coronavirus update.

The list of hospital beds prepared for the coronavirus epidemic is provided. They are 7473, 1137 of which are in Sofia. The intensive care beds are 1347, of which 518 are in Sofia. Four cases were confirmed in Plovdiv: a 50 year old man and two women, at the age of 56 and 58, and a 62 year old man from the Regional Health Inspectorate in Plovdiv.

There is a second case for the day for the infectious diseases hospital in Sofia, a 36 year old man. The total number of cases there is 4.

There are no new intubated cases, patients who are in serious condition are being monitored, the general said.

So far, 6454 tests have been done on the territory of the country, of which 4800 are in Sofia, but these are not only primary tests, some of them were repeat tests and confirmations of inconclusive ones.
