Five political parties will certainly enter the next Parliament, it is still unclear which formation will win the April 2 early elections, according to the results of a survey conducted by “Trend” polling agency, between March 6 and 12, 2023 among 1,005 adults in the form of direct face-to-face interviews. The poll was commissioned by "24 Chassa" daily newspaper.
In the first week of the election campaign, “We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria” and GERB-UDF remain neck-and-neck ahead of the vote.
The coalition “We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria” enjoys the support of 26.5% of the respondents and GERB-UDF is supported by 25.6% .
The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) comes third with 13.6% of the votes, followed by "Vazrazhdane" with 12.9% and BSP for Bulgaria - 7.6%.
Three parties remain below the 4% threshold to enter Parliament. 3.6% of voters say they will vote for "Bulgaria Ascending", 3.5% for "The Left" and "There is Such a People" gets 3.1% of the vote.
47% of all interviewees declare that they will exercise their right to vote on 2 April. 5.1% say they will choose the option "I do not support anyone". The expected turnout according to the survey will be between 2.5 and 2.7 million.
