Wildfire occurred in the afternoon on August 27 in a forest between the south Bulgarian regions of Haskovo and Dimitrovgrad.
Later in the evening the fire was brought under control. Four fire fighting teams and forestry officials will remain on-site.
The strong wind spread the flames in the dry grass to the area of the forest. The wildfire was raging near a photovoltaic power station.
