A 62 year old woman died after she was hit by a tram in “Macedonia “ square in Sofia. According to information from the Ministry of Interior, the accident happened around 12:20 on August 18.
The medical emergency team told BNT that the woman died at the scene.
Traffic in the area is disrupted because of the tram accident.
Routes of the tram lines 4 and 5 have been temporarily changed.
