Reuters says that a Pro-Rusian candidate won the Presidential elections in Bulgaria. The French magazine “Le Point” says that although the 53 year old Radev has no previous experience in politics, he won with ease.
The considered for pro-Russian Candidate Rumen Radev confirmed convincing victory in the second round of the elections, Ria Novosti comments.
France-Presse wrote that the Bulgarians overwhelmingly chose a Russophile president and this result prompted the current ruling party’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov to announce he would resign.
