A 12-year-old student from the village of Barutin, Dospat area, Southern Bulgaria, impressed the global giant Google with his programming skills. Radostin Cholakov has developed two apps for Google Assistant which brought him gifts and $ 2400 in vouchers.
Radostin received his first computer four years ago and they are inseparable ever since. The boy has created and developed applications that have impressed Google.
“One of them is an application for fun facts. There is a sheet with many facts and you can ask about one of them and it will give it. Its purpose is to entertain the user. Everything is through talking, not writing. You control it with your voice,” Radostin explained.
He works on a chess game application as well. He continues to refine it by using the vouchers he won as Google award, because the programmes he works with are paid. Radostin's parents have a modest life, his father works in a carpenter's shop, and his mother is a seamstress. Radostin wants to stay and settle in Bulgaria in the future.
