A total of 1399 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Bulgaria on April 28, the national task force said in its daily 5 pm update.
Twelve new cases were reported during the day: 3 in Sofia district and 9 in Vidin.
287 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 39 of them are in intensive care
In terms of the overall picture, 697 are men and 702 are women.
As at 17.00 pm, on April 28, the cases of coronavirus in the districts across the country are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 42; Bourgas – 47; Varna - 26; Veliko Turnovo – 22; Vidin – 82; Vratsa – 3; Gabrovo – 5; Dobrich – 13; Kardzhali – 13; Kyustendil – 63; Lovech – 2; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 26; Pernik – 11; Pleven – 125; Plovdiv – 50; Rousse - 12; Silistra - 5; Sliven – 42; Smolyan – 33; Sofia – 694; Stara Zagora – 36; Haskovo – 16; Shumen – 4; Yambol – 9.
Of the total, 150 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus.
The deaths of patients diagnosed with Covid-19 are 58.
