Six people died and more than 20 were injured in a deadly bus accident on Trakia Motorway near Vakarel on 13th of April. The accident occurred when a bus turned over after a car crashed into it.
The bus was performing a regular service from the coastal city of Bourgas to Sofia. The authorities established that the bus, the bus company (Union Ivkoni) and the driver had all required documents.
The accident was reported at 11.20. Ten minutes later, 14 ambulances were sent to the scene of the crash and transported the injured to 6 hospital in Sofia.
The police ensured emergency corridors for the ambulances.
Ministry of Interior opened phone lines at which relatives of the injured can receive information about their condition.
