Seven new cases of coronavirus were reported in Bulgaria since the morning on May 3, thus bringing the total to 1618, the national task force said in the 17.00 daily update.
316 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospital, 39 of them are in intensive care.
The total includes 805 men and 813 women.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are now 176.
As at 17.00 pm, on May 3, the cases of coronavirus in the districts across the country are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 51; Bourgas – 47; Varna - 26; Veliko Turnovo – 24; Vidin – 133; Vratsa – 10; Gabrovo – 6; Dobrich – 13; Kardzhali – 13; Kyustendil – 69; Lovech – 2; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 28; Pernik – 19; Pleven – 158; Plovdiv – 77; Razgrad -1; Rousse - 15; Silistra - 5; Sliven – 52; Smolyan – 37; Sofia – 739; Stara Zagora – 38; Haskovo – 17; Shumen – 4; Yambol – 16.
73 people died with the virus. A 64 year old man died today in a hospital in Vidin. He also had cancer.
