92 year old man wins fight against the coronavirus

A 92-year-old man recovered from the coronavirus and was discharged today, May 8, from the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Military Medical Academy in Sofia.

This was announced by the medics on the official Facebook page of the health institution.

Doctors note that the 92 year old Todor has an extremely strong spirit and, in addition, is included in the statistics of one of the oldest patients in Europe who recovered from Covid-19.

"A patient with a strong spirit is going home today! We are proud to have helped 92-year-old grandfather Todor to overcome Covid-19, making him one of the oldest patients in Europe to have passed the challenge," the medics from the Military Medical Academy wrote.
