The Agency for Bulgarians Abroad started a campaign to encourage Bulgarians who live outside Bulgaria come back to their home country.
The Agency for Bulgarians Abroad started a campaign to encourage Bulgarians who live outside Bulgaria come back to their home country. With letters to the Bulgarian communities, together with the association of software companies, the state institution informs about job vacancies in Bulgaria. A study of what our compatriots are doing abroad, why they left the country and what would have prompted them to return, is being conducted.
Our compatriots will understand about the survey from over 1,000 Bulgarian organizations abroad. Since the beginning of the year, the Agency for Bulgarians Abroad has also sent letters with information about vacant jobs in Bulgaria.
The greatest interest is among the Bulgarians in the Western suburbs. In February, more than 30 people from Tsaribrod, Serbia, came home to work in a factory in Kostinbrod, a town in Western Bulgaria. And while the Bulgarians, living in the Balkans, are coming home for economic reasons, those who emigrated to Western Europe go back home, either because of nostalgia or to work for international companies.
