A second explosive device was found on the route where the motorcade of Prosecutor General, Ivan Geshev, was supposed to pass on its way to Turkey, BNT learned. At the moment there is no more information about it.
“Good thing I changed cars at the last minute. Good thing they didn't kill anyone! I'm worried about the kids, they got very scared,” was Geshev’s first comments for "Epicenter" after the explosion against his car on May 1.
The explosion in front of the Prosecutor General's motorcade took place around 11.45 on May 1. 2023, on the road Sofia - Samokov.
He was travelling with his wife and two daughters.
