The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office carried out an operation focused on alleged crime group involving tax officers from the National Revenue Agency (NRA). More than 20 people from Directorate “Operational Control” in NRA Sofia have been subject to questioning.
The operation takes place on 27th of March in Sofia, Botervgrad and Rila.
The Head of the Specialised Prosecutor’s Office, Ivan Geshev, explained that at this stage there are suspicions for corrupt practices related to certain shops. No charges have been pressed yet.
