The police presence will be stepped up tonight in Bulgaria’s largest seaside resorts Sunny Beach, the police from the district city of Bourgas announced on June 12.
The reason is that some of the nightclubs in the resort are expected to open and there will probably be larger crowds of people.
Despite the weak summer tourist season, the police in Bourgas said they would ensure the safety of all travelers to the sea and mobile teams will be deployed in the seaside municipalities on the North and South Black Sea coasts over the weekend.
Hundreds of high school students are expected to celebrate their graduation in Sunny Beach at the end of June.
