On 2 January, the Bulgarian National Bank issued gold commemorative coins on the theme "St. Mary - Golden Apple" with denominations of BGN 10, 20, 50 and 100. This becomes clear from the website of the central bank. The 100-BGN coin will be sold for 5,057 BGN, while the prices of the others drop relative to their denomination.

In the period 2 to 4 January, each customer can buy a maximum of 2 coins of each denomination, after which the coins will be sold without restriction.
They will also be made available for sale at several commercial banks.
