BNT will bring comprehensive coverage of 2018 Fifa World Cup

At 16:30 on 14thh of June, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) will air the special broadcast dedicated to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

An hour before the official opening, the sports team of the public service broadcaster will present the host's latest preparations for the football championship of the planet. Live coverage of the opening will be presented by BNT's special envoy Georgi Slavchev. Host of the commentary show "Third Half" will be Ivaylo Angelov.

His guests in the first programme will be football players Georgi Peev, who in 2007 was a player of the Amkar football club (Perm) and Mihail Alexandrov, who is currently the player of the eighth team in the Russian Premier League - Arsenal (Tula). The new rules, which will be applied for the first time during the beginning of the World Cup, the favorites and the potential surprises for the spectators will be commented by the football professional Velizar Dimitrov.

In the coming days, the world championship matches will be commented by well-known analysts such as Angel Slavkov, Velislav Vutsov, Vladimir Manchev, Hristo Yanev, Stanislav Angelov.

The commentary studio, the official opening of the championship as well as the football match between the teams of Russia and Saudi Arabia will be broadcast live on BNT1 and BNT HD, and from 20:00 the Third Half will continue on BNT HD with highlights from the first match of the championship and comment on the most interesting moments.

The official opening ceremony begins at 17:30. According to preliminary information, it will include the music star Robbie Williams, the Russian opera diva Aida Garfield and Ronaldo football virtuoso.

All 64 match of the World Cup 2018 will be broadcast by the Bulgarian National Television.
