Bulgaria’s Eurovision entry “Tears Getting Sober” is the winner of OutTV viewers

The Bulgarian Eurovision song "Tears Getting Sober" is the big winner in the Out TV international ranking, in which viewers and professional jury vote for their Eurovision 2020 favourites.

This year's edition of the song contest was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, which has prompted many television, radio and print and digital magazines around the world to look for alternative ways to identify the most popular songs from the Eurovision edition which will not take place on stage.

One of the media that conducted the most representative and extensive polls was Out TV, which is based in the Netherlands but has television channels and viewers in the US, Canada, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Sweden and Israel.

The fans of the Bulgarian singer will have the opportunity to enjoy a special one-hour concert on April 11, featuring Bulgarian musicians. The young singer will perform her songs and world hits, and music fans can watch it live from 8pm on Victoria's official Facebook page.

BNT 1 will broadcast on May 16 the special show “Eurovision - Europe Shine a Light” live at 10 pm Bulgarian time. The television programme will not have a competitive format and will present the songs and artists who were going to take part in the cancelled Eurovision 2020. The Bulgarian Eurovision representative Victoria will also be part of the show. She will record a video message to millions of fans of the competition worldwide, and Bulgaria's Eurovision 2020 song "Tears Getting Sober" will be aired on public TV and radio broadcasters across Europe and Australia.

Victoria will be the Bulgarian representative of the 65th edition of Eurovision, expected to take place in 2021.
