According to preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute for 2017, the “General Government" sector reports a budget surplus of 920 million BGN, or 0.9% of GDP, the National Statistical Institute said on 23rd of April.
The surplus in “Central Government” subsector is to the amount of 727 million BGN, or 0.7% of GDP.
The surplus of the “Local Government” sub-sector is to the amount of 256 million BGN. The deficit of the social security funds is 63 million BGN.
The debt of Bulgaria for 2017 is to the amount of 25,064 million BGN, or 25.4% of the GDP.
