Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived on a visit to Israel on 12th of june. He was welcomed by H. E. Irit Lillian, the Israeli Ambassador to Bulgaria, the government information service said.
In Jerusalem, Prime Minister Borisov will meet with David Harris, the Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). Later, Boyko Borissov will participate in the plenary session of the Global Conference of the American Jewish Congress.
The Delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev; Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; National Anti-Semitism Coordinator Georg Georgiev and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
Tomorrow, 13th of June, Prime Minister Borissov will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin and opposition leader Isaac Herzog. Prime Minister Borissov will talk with the President of the World Jewish Congress, Ronald Lauder.
The Bulgarian delegation will be received by Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem. They will also have a meeting with the Bulgarian community in Tel Aviv.
