Equinox, the band which will represent Bulgaria at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest took to stage in the evening on 26th of April to perform for their fans in Sofia. The band members Zhana Bergendorff, Georgi Simeonov, Vlado Mihailov, Johnny Manuel and Trey Campbell will be travelling to the Portuguese capital Lisbon for the first rehearsal, which will take place on 29th of April.
The Bulgarian representative Equinox will perform the song “Bones” under number 10 in the first semi-final on 8th of May. Viewers on the territory of the participating countries will have the possibility to vote for the Bulgarian representative: Spain, Portugal, the UK, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Switzerland, Finland, Belarus, Lithuania, Albania, Iceland, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Armenia, Macedonia.
If Equinox qualify for the Grand Final, viewers will have the opportunity to hear the song once again on 12th of May.
The band was formed specifically for the competition.
The composer of Bones is Borislav Milanov.
