The Cabinet appointed Bulgaria Air AD as the air carrier to operate the international air route Sofia - Baku - Sofia. The airline has declared its readiness to start regular passenger flights on the Sofia - Baku - Sofia route twice a week.
The regular air service will improve Bulgaria’s connectivity with the Caspian Sea region. It will create new travel opportunities for citizens from both countries, attract transit passengers from neighbouring countries of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan and facilitate business development.
