On 17th of May, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov and his Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati, who is on a visit to Bulgaria, signed a memorandum on cooperation in the area of European integration.
Daniel Mitov said that Bulgaria would always be ready to share its experience from joining NATO and EU and help Albania regarding the necessary reforms. According to Mitov, Europe would be complete only when the countries from the Western Balkans become part of the EU.
Ditmir Bushati said that more Europe and NATO in the region meant more stability and security. The two foreign ministers talked about stability in the region and the crisis in Macedonia, stressing the need for a political dialogue there.
