Bulgaria is heading towards peak in coronavirus cases

Record high number of 48 new coronavirus cases was registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 783, the national task force said on April 16.

The good news is that 122 Covid-19 patients have recovered, by 17 more compared to yesterday.

The deaths are also increasing to 37.

The number of medical staff infected with the coronavirus has also gone up to 48. of them, 9 were confirmed in the past several hours, including a medic from the medical emergency unit.
