The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,979 from 26,780 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 19.
The share of Covid-19 tests that are positive is at 18.6%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 540,619.
The active cases are 63,241.
Of the total, 6,258 patients are in hospitals, 537 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,009 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 459,869
· 6,201 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,628,498
· 214 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 22,488
Of the daily cases, 84.23% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 94.39% had not been vaccinated.
There were 1,251 new hospitalisations, of which 89.21% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
