Data of National Statistics institute shows that in the first quarter of 2018, Bulgaria’s economy achieved a growth of 3.5% compared to the same period of 2017.
Main factor for the increase is the households’ purchases.
From January to March there was also an increase in the produced goods and services, by 3.5% compared to last year. Changes in final consumption, investment, exports and imports of goods and services also mark a growth.
