The Bulgarian police is clarifying the identities of the migrants who were detained late on 12th of November at Sofia's Central Railway Station.
A total of 29 were found in a freight train travelling from Turkey to Austria.
According to initial reports of the metropolitan police, the foreigners were without identity documents.
The group of migrants included 14 women, 6 children and 9 men. The police found them after a call on 112 emergency phone number. The train carriage cover was torn.
The migrants did not resist detention. The police said there were Syrian citizens among them. However, investigators have not yet established the origin and legal status of all foreigners as well as where they wanted to go.
