At the Security Conference in Munich on 16th of February, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov insisted that European and global investments focus on infrastructure and education rather than new fences and military actions.
At a bilateral meeting between Borissov and his Turkish counterpart, Binali Yıldırım, the importance of infrastructure projects in the region was highlighted, emphasizing the important role of Trans-European Corridors 4, 8 and 10 that provide connectivity in Europe. Yıldırım stressed that the implementation of these projects will be in accordance with the European requirements. They also discussed the European Union-Turkey relations.
