Voter turnot in Sofia was 36.04%
Voter turnout in the mayoral and municipal elections in the country on Sunday was 44.94%, the Central Election Commission said on October 31.
More than 2,713,000 voters out of a total of just over 6,038,000 went to the polls, the CEC added.
In the previous local elections of 2019, the turnout in the first round was higher - 49.76%.
Voter turnout in Sofia in the first round of voting on Sunday was 36.04%. More than 380,000 people exercised their right to vote.
In the first round of the 2019 local elections in Sofia, 42.82% or nearly 456,000 voters cast their votes.
