Central Election Commission announced final results of July 11 early parliamentary elections

Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission on July 14 announced the final results from the early parliamentary elections held on July 11, 2021.

“There is Such a People” party wins the elections with 24.08% of the votes.

The centre- right “GERB-UDF” coalition comes second with 23.51%.

Bulgarian Socialist Party is third with 13.39%.

Democratic Bulgaria is fourth with 12.64%.

Movement for rights and Freedoms is fifth 10.71%.

“Rise Up! Thugs Out!” is sixth with 5.01%.
The difference between the number of votes between “There is Such a People” and GERB-UDF is 15.659 votes.

The question whether “There is Such a People” would manage to form a government remains open after the party proposed a cabinet with Nikolai Vassilev as Prime Minister. Most parliamentary presented parties said they would not support it.
