Starting this evening, October 6, words will once again be transformed into images on the screen.
Cinelibri 2023 has began. The festival inspired by the interaction of arts - cinema and literature in particular, will take place between October 6-29 in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo and Stara Zagora.
The event was opened with a full hall and a film that won the top prize at the Venice Film Festival - "Poor Things", starring Oscar winner Emma Stone, and a performance by pianist Zhivko Petrov.
"Metamorphoses" is the motto of this year's edition of the festival, and until October 29, film lovers can watch more than 60 titles on the big screen.
