Code yellow alert for hazardous weather was issued on May 4 for 11 districts in Bulgaria over heavy rain and thunder storms. The warning is in place for the districts of Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Turnovo, Rousse, Silistra, Razgrad, Targovishte, Sliven, Yambol and Bourgas. Hail storms are also possible.
The weather forecast is for winds and temperatures lower than the usual for the season. The maximum temperatures are expected to be between 14 and 19 degrees per Celsius.
