Prime Minister Boyko Borissov symbolically turned the first sod at the new section of “Hemus” motorway. The section between "Buhovtsi" and "Belokopitovo" is 16,5 km long. The project will cost 120 million BGN. The road is expected to be completed for a year and two months.
The motorway will be built simultaneously on both sides - from Yablanitsa and from Shumen, Borissov said. He reassured that the construction will be finalised within deadlines.
The North Autobahn is important for the development of the region. Large-scale construction is financed entirely by the state budget.
