The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria is 975, the national task force said in the afternoon update on April 21.
Nine more cases were registered in the country during the day in addition to the 51 this morning.
281 covid-19 patients are in hospitals, 40 of them are in intensive care.
The number of medical specialists infected with the virus is also increasing, now reaching 80.
In terms of the overall picture as at April 21, 506 of the registered cases are men and 469 are women.
