The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 11,143 from 40,863 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 2.
The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is 27%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 963,108.
The active cases are 250,935.
Of the total, 5,799 patients are in hospitals, 533 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 4,354 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 678,768
· 8,192 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,173,659.
· 87 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 33,405.
Of the daily cases, 76.17% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 82.76% had not been vaccinated.
There were 841 new hospitalisations, of which 85.37% had not been vaccinated.
So far, nearly 2,000,000 people have beeen fully vaccinated. More than 600,000 have been given a booster dose.
