The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 122 out of 5,145 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 10 shows. This means that 2,4% of the tested are with Covid-19.
The largest number of newly confirmed cases was reported in the following districts: Sofia - 21; Blagoevgrad - 21; Bourgas – 15; Varna – 12; Plovdiv – 7 and Stara Zagora – 7.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 17,435.
The active cases are 4259.
Of the total, 753 are in hospitals, 60 of them being in intensive care.
Ten Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 702.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 177. The total recoveries are 12,474.
The total number of medical professionals who tested positive for the virus is 982, including 9 new over the past 24 hours: 1 doctor; 4 nurses; 2 healthcare assistants and 2 other medical staff.
