The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,235 from 22,622 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 29.
Test positivity rate is nearly 6%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 737,233
The active cases are 98,128.
Of the total, 4,142 patients are in hospitals, 481 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,532 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 608,448
· 3,867 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,662,560.
· 34 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 30,657.
Of the daily cases, 78.79% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 85.29% had not been vaccinated.
There were 253 new hospitalisations, of which 83.79% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
