The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 143 out of 3,163 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 15 shows.
The largest number of newly confirmed cases was reported in Bourgas (24); Kardzhali (19); Stara Zagora (15); Blagoevgrad (12); Sofia (12); Plovdiv (10).
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 18,061.
The active cases are 4402.
Of the total, 730 are in hospitals, 49 of them being in intensive care.
A total of 12,930 people have recovered from the virus, including 163 over the past 24 hours.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1009 in total, including five new: 2 doctors and 3 nurses.
