One hundred and sixty five new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hhours from 2896 PCR tests, data on the national information system shows on July 2.
The latest cases are in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 11; Bourgas- 7; Varna - 12; Vratsa – 4; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 1;Kyustendil - 9; Pazardzhik - 3; Pernik – 1; Pleven – 2; Plovdiv - 33; Razgrad - 4; Rousse – 6; Sliven - 4; Smolyan - 9; Sofia district - 6; Sofia city - 46; Stara Zagora - 2; Yambol - 3.
The total number of cases in the country is 5154, of which 2200 are active.
2722 patients diagnosed with Covid-19 have recovered, including 46 in the past 24 hours.
446 patients are in hospitals, 32 of them are in intensive care.
418 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus, including 5 over the past 24 hours: 2 doctors and 3 nurses.
The fatalities of patients with Covid-19 are 232. Two people died in the past 24 hours: a 61 year old woman witth heart and lung diseases and a 62 year old man with many underlying health conditions.
