Seventeen new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 1557 PCR tests. The total cases now stands at 2460, the national task force said on May 27.
The latest cases include 11 people in Sofia, 3 in Shumen, 2 in Pazardzhik and 1 in Yambol.
One new cases of medical staff was registered, a nurse from Yambol.
912 patients have recovered, with 32 over the past 24 hours.
The fatalities are 133. Three more deaths were reported over the past 24 hours: a 70 year old woman in Plovdiv, who had underlying health condition ( stomach ulcer); a 74 year old woman from Sliven with diabetes and a 73 year old in Sofia, who also had cancer.
Of the total, 217 patients diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 22 of them are in intensive care.
