The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,949 from 16,422 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 17.
Test positivity rate is at 11,9%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,119,474.
The active cases are 193,778.
Of the total, 2,303 patients are in hospitals, 278 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,565 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 889,474
· 2,342 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,329,904.
· 26 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 36,222.
Of the daily cases, 70.50% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 80.77% had not been vaccinated.
There were 228new hospitalisations, of which 84.65% had not been vaccinated.
