The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,180 from 16,354 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 9.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,105,968.
The active cases are 207,567.
Of the total, 2,831 patients are in hospitals, 357 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,295 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 862,437
· 1,905 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,312,603.
· 41 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,964.
Of the daily cases, 72.89% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 95.12% had not been vaccinated.
There were 273 new hospitalisations, of which 82.42% had not been vaccinated.
