The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 276 from 4,736 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on September 30.
The largest number of the latest cases was reported in Sofia (52) and Blagoevgrad (49).
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic rose to 20,547.
The active cases are 5,245.
Of the total, 814 patients are in hospitals, 44 of them being in intensive care.
The total recoveries are 14,489. Of them, 150 were registered over the past 24 hours.
The medical professionals who have tested positive for coronavirus are 1143, including 11 new cases over the past 24 hours: 6 doctors; 2 nurses; 2 healthcare assistants and 1 other medical staff.
Six Covid-19 related deaths were reported over the past 24 hours. The total rose to 813.
