The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,183 from 18,725 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 15.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 17%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 534,312.
The active cases are 57,057.
Of the total, 5,867 patients are in hospitals, 493 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,486 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 455,153
· 8,064 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,615,154
· 98 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 22,102
Of the daily cases, 85.27% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.88% had not been vaccinated.
There were 721 new hospitalisations, of which 90.15% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
