Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 435 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 435 from 7,162 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 5.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,158,354.

The active cases are 134,409.

Of the total, 786 patients are in hospitals, 82 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,578 recoveries;

· 1,150 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 67.13% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66.67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 87 new hospitalisations, of which 75.86% had not been vaccinated.
